Don Diego de la Vega

Don Diego's costumes are mostly 'high end' styles. He's rich and his clothes show it.

The 'Gold Trim' suit

Don Diego's fanciest costume is his navy blue suit with gold trim. He wears a greenish sash and scarf. The gold would hardly be called trim, it's extremely decorative and covers much of his suit.

The gold travels completely down the leg and spreads out at his foot, wrapping itself half way around his pant leg. The gold on his sleeve is at his upper arm and lower arm. The gold on both the leg and sleeve twirl outward in a 'leafy' design. The front of his collar is completely covered in the colorful trim. The gold seems not to be embroider but separate material 'glued' on to the suit.

In the above picture from http://hollywoodmoviecostumesandprops.blogspot.com, this suit is shown with a white cravat. The picture below, also from the same source, shows that in between the gold trim there seems to be small beads. The buttons are also very fancy.

Small pockets are positioned on the front of his coat, with the gold surrounding them. In the above picture, fancy white cuffs protrude from the coat sleeve. In the picture below, one can clearly see large gold buttons going down the pant leg, and one at the cuff of the coat jacket.
Intricate design

The jacket under the coat is tight fitting and forms a 'V' just above the waist

There is also two buttons on both sides of his coat. Being on both sides, there is obviously no button holes and the coats are never done up but always hang open. Though I do not have a picture of it, he wears a very small chain from one side of his jacket to the other across the buttons in the front.

Appearing in the film, it appears to be turquoise, he wears it with a brown hat and gloves

Light Blue/Grey Suit

This outfit has the same basic design as his other suits, with the 'V' vest, front pockets, and buttons traveling down his leg. This suit has black trim outlining his pockets, collar, a stripe across his vest, and around the bottom of his coat.  He wears a black tie most of the time with it.
Light trim surrounds his pockets and bottom of coat. Depending on the light, the trim either looks darker than the suit, or lighter. He wears this suit often in the film, especially when he is in town.
The silver buttons go down both sides of the pant leg, one can tell the material is full at the bottom. The picture below gives one a good look at his vest which also has the same kind of collar as the coat. One can also see his black sash fairly well. The inside of his coat looks satin.

I do not possess any pictures of it, but this coat also has inside pockets where he keeps money, cigars, and other small articles.

The Dark Brown Suit

I have found it rather difficult to get pictures of this suit, but it's one of my very favorites. It has the same very fancy trim, but I wanted to note that instead of the sash being contrasting, it matches the brown.
It is almost a red/orange color and matches his cravat (shown below).

Instead of the collar folding into the coat half way down (as the other suits so far) This suit has it folded back with delicate trim traveling the whole surface, as shown below.

Sadly, I could not find any of what the pants look like of this suit. Here are some additional photos.

His cuffs seem to have the same design as the collar.
